Less than one hour after the Senate President, Bukola Saraki announced his defection from the APC, Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has also dumped the APC for the PDP.

Governor Ahmed made this known in a tweet on his official handle at exactly 6:25pm.
He said; “Following consultations and in response to calls by major stakeholders in the state, I have moved to the PDP as APC can no longer serve as a platform for achieving the aspirations and expectations of my people.”
