Ekiti Guber: Fayemi behind ritual killings, wants blood of 16 people to win election, group alleges

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been accused as the brain behind of killings by suspected cultists in the State, especially in Ado Ekiti, the State capital.

The Ekiti Democratic Coalition (EDC), which made the allegation in a release issued on Friday, alleged that “It was Fayemi’s wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi that took him to a herbalist in Kogi State where he was told that blood of 16 people must be made available for ritual 14 days to the election if he must return as governor of Ekiti State.”

According to EDC Convener, Comrade Ogunlola Olatunde, investigation has revealed that recent killings by cultists were orchestrated by Fayemi so as to be able to gather the blood of 16 people needed for the sacrifice.

We can say it authoritatively that Fayemi is involved in the killings in Ado Ekiti in the last one week. We are aware that he was told by a spiritualist who operates from a small town in Kogi State that blood of 16 people must be provided for sacrifice.

Ekiti people who are vigilant enough must have noticed Fayemi’s strange mode of dressing at his campaign rallies. He now wears big and long buba, instead of his usual fitted buba so as to accommodate a bullet-proof vest and a small tortoise that he wears under the buba.

It should be noted that during the 2014 governorship election, Fayemi’s wife performed many rituals, one of which was the use of the blood of an albino to wash a wrapper with which she publicly tied her husband to her back during a campaign rally at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti.
