Barring any last minute change of plans, the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi may be dethroned by the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje in the next two weeks.
The Kano State Legislative House has just tabled eight count charges on Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, including breach of Oaths of Office and Allegiance, as well as Abuse of Privileges, misappropriation of funds inter alia by an overwhelming majority.
