Breaking News: Magu can no longer continue in office as EFCC boss – Senate

The Senate on Wednesday disclosed that its rejection of the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, means the anti-graft boss has lost his capacity to act in that office.
This was disclosed by the Senate spokesman, Abdulahi Sabi, after plenary on Wednesday.
Sabi said some senators who were backing Magu’s confirmation backed out because of his poor performance during plenary.
He insisted that the report of the Department of State Services nailed the anti-graft boss because he failed the integrity test.
According to him: “The rejection of Magu by the Senate signifies that he cannot continue in acting capacity.‎”
