Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has emerged as the Chairman, PDP Governors Forum.
Governor Fayose replaced Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko whose tenure as governor will end next month.
Fayose’s emergence as the PDP Governors chairman was announced by the Bayelsa State Governor, Hon Seriake Dickson after a meeting in Abuja that ended few minutes ago.
Apart from governors and deputy governors, the meeting was attended by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, PDP Caretaker National Chairman; Senator Ahmed Makarfi, BoT Chairman; Senator Walid Jibrin, Caretaker Committee member in charge of Publicity; Prince Dayo Adeyeye, Secretary; Senator Ben Obi among others.
